40^th Year Anniversary Announcement

God has been good to my self and The Marching Cobra Organization over the past 40 years. More than 8,000 youth have marched with the Cobras. We have traveled coast to coast and abroad. I am grateful to Him for his mercy, guidance and most of all am grateful for Him giving me the task through the Kansas City School District in February, 1969 to start the group as an after school activity to keep our youth safe from the streets. Thus began the journey. We have had good times, in between times and bad times.

There are so many persons, organizations, etc. that I have to extend my thanks. These are too numerous to mention. Dating from 40 years ago, I can’t start naming persons, organizations, because mistakes can be made from the head and not the heart and I do not want to omit anyone. I can say “thank you” to each and everyone of you through financial contributions, use of your organization facility, transportation or maybe just a kind word of encouragement from you. I will always walk the earth humbly and proud to be an ambassador for Kansas City, Missouri. Through the generosity of the citizens of Kansas City and other cities, states The Beat Goes On…
